Nancy,
You have such great insight about life in faith. Have you written anything directly to pastors' wives? Or could you direct me to any writings that have been helpful to you on that subject? Thank you.

Thank you! My husband's work takes him out of town for long chunks of time, to not very glamarous spots. But, I am so grateful to be able to pack up & move our "home" & go with him.
Meredith - I believe the sorrows of daily life can even be an aid in achieving companionship! Use them to grow closer, don't use them as tools against each other.

You are so fortunate to have him with you! I miss my husband all day (I own a small bookstore and work there) we can't wait for the day when our shop supports us both.

My husband went out of town last week on business, and I'm so glad I was able to stay with his grandparents instead of at our apartment. The whole place just felt dead without him in it. Since he works from home I'm used to having him around nearly 24/7 anyway. But now he's back, and I'm very happy.

Every once in a while a friend will try to convince me to move to his or her town or area of the country. I usually tell them sure, as soon as you find me a husband there. My home is here 'til there's someone to "mean home to me."

Really appreciate this quote. I'm married to a wonderful man, but marriage is still hard sometimes. How does one 'achieve' companionship amidst the sorrows of daily life?
