Announcing the Safe Arrival

….of Chloe Lynn Geddes Jankovic and her twin brother Titus James Jankovic tonight at 11:30 and 11:44 P.M.

Chloe weighed in at 7 lb. 2 oz. and is 19 inches long, and Titus weighs 7 lb. 9 oz. and is 20 and a half inches long. He was the gentleman and let her go first.

Both are beautiful and healthy. Mama was superb and fantastic and Luke is the award-winning, hands-on birth coach. Our thanks to a wonderful nursing staff at Gritman, especially Kim Foote and Eda Browning, the babies’ doctor John Grauke, and Rachel’s obstetrician Ric Minudri. What an impressive and kind group of saints.

All praise and thanks to God!

  1. I guess they were just waiting till their stockings were finished.

Congrats to the parents and grandparents! Rachel, way to go–that’s a lot of baby to bear and birth. Your cheery pregnancy updates have encouraged those of us hauling around a lot less than 14 lbs. of baby!

  2. Praise be to God for such beautiful, healthy babies! I can’t believe how big they were! It must feel good to have that nearly 15 pounds of baby on the outside now!

  3. OOOHHH, I’m so happy!! I’ve been checking everyday awaiting their arrival! Rachel must be so happy! Blessings on you all and the new darlings! And I love the names.

  4. Congratulations! Those are a couple of great-looking babies–and over 14 pounds of them–great job, Rachel!

  5. By the way–my husband and I have always LOVED the name Geddes–from St. Giles’ stool-tossing milkmaid!

  6. Many congratulations! :-)

P.S. I just came across your blog last week, through lifeinreturn.com, and have been really enjoying it so far. :-)

  7. Wow!!!!
I confess, I cried a little when I saw the email Doug put out. Oh my what a bundle of blessing. You must be so proud of Rachel. Those are some heathy twins to bring into the world.

Congratulations to all the Wilson Clan!
We praise the Lord with you.
    much love, the Comis Clan

  8. Such very happy news. You must be so proud of your daughter as well as grandbabies; she sounds to have done very well but bearing twins for nine month and the delivery must have been a very big (smiles) deal.

  9. Wow! Don’t check for a couple of days and see what I miss! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! They’re absolutely adorable!

  10. WooHoo! Well, they almost shared a birthday with me. :-) I turned 38 on the 29th and they were born late on the 28th I presume from the times you wrote down. So Cute!!!

Praise God from whom ALL BLESSINGS flow!
