I love it! I intended to start our homeschool last week, but we were all sick. So, it was cheering to me that though we started a week late, we *did* start the same day as Logos. :D It's a good thing I pad our homeschool calendar . . .

Janine, don't worry about misspelling the town. Most of the time, people mispronounce it.

Yeah! I'm glad I finally got it right, but I am so sorry to hear that Hero missed her first day. I agree it would be worth going back to being a kid if I could go to Logos. We have a precious classical, Christian school here in Alabama called Trinity Christian School. We love our little school but, we often look to Logos for ideas and have learned many, many things for Logos. It is our dream (my husband and I) to fly out to Mosco and spend a week learning from the leaders!

I love those wide, bright red stripes on the ties! Uniforms don't have to be dull and ugly to be orderly and neat!

These kids do look dapper. You know, I've always maintained that I would never want to go back and relive any part of my life again. I am glad for my past experiences, but enjoy the present too much to desire to go back in time. However, if someone granted me the opportunity to relive my childhood years, but tweaked them a bit so I could be a student at Logos, well, I don't know if I could justify passing on that offer. =)

Janine,
Yep, you're right. Little Miss Hero is down with a fever and missed the first day of first grade. Her teacher sent her (via the siblings) a piece of watermelon from their day's activities. They guess how much the watermelon weighs and how many seeds are in it. Then they weigh it, cut it up and eat it, saving all the seeds. Sounds like the perfect way to start off the school year! Hopefully Hero will be joining them soon.
