In particular, I know a couple of dear old ladies whose eyes shine like stars -who love God and their families and after seeing parent's, husbands, and siblings die can talk with certainty about the goodness of God and His Sovereignty. They're sisters, and I love to be around them. When we moved to California we actually drove a hundred or so miles out of our way to visit one of them. To be so close to so much love and not visit would be unthinkable. That's just the kind of ladies they are. I’ve certainly seen this for myself in the lives of older relatives.
