  • AWESOME ARTICLE! Everyone read it! Thanks again Femina gals!

  • Thank you. Your words nourished and strengthened the spaces in me that often feel impotent when faced with this evil.

  • This is such a good article and was very timely for me. I showed my husband and he shared it on Facebook. Thanks for letting us know about it!

  • Pretty much the best pro-life argument I’ve ever heard! Being pro-life is so much more than just being anti-abortion.

  • beautifully written… Thanks!

  • Powerful. Thanks, Rachel, for reminding us of the “real life of the pro-life movement” which “will change the world.”

  • So powerful. And then I came across the closing paragraph of That Hideous Strength by C.S. Lewis last night:

“Then she thought of her obedience and the setting of each foot before the other became a kind of sacrificial ceremony. And she thought of children, and of pain and death.”

  • “..something living and burning at the same time.” What a summation of true and sacrificial mothering. Staggering. Thank you.

  • On a day where my three kids four and under are seeming to need my attention more than usual, and I am feeling every second of my seventh month of pregnancy, this article was exactly what I needed. I sat down with a desperate sigh of weariness and prayed for encouragement, and my husband then sent me a link to this blog, and this link caught my eye. Thank you for reminding me why this sacrifice is essential. :) (By the way, I am a huge fan of Rachel’s posts on desiring God, I think I have read them all, and I have just started reading Nancy’s books and LOVE them. Had no idea you guys were related! What a legacy :))

  • I loved this and forwarded it onto some friends. I read some of her other posts over there too and I was encouraged!
