I like to hope that I’m not the only mother out there with this problem . . . but every time the weather changes I am caught off guard once again by the fact that my kids have nothing to wear. We’ve only just finished acquiring enough tights and snowboots for everyone, and then all of the sudden they’re supposed to wear flip flops and shorts. And we don’t have any. Last year’s versions are either torn, stained, too small, or missing entirely. The reason this is coming to mind at the moment is that fact that it is absolutely gorgeous outside, the tulips are finally blooming, and I’m getting that ominous feeling that we are, once again, unprepared for it. It occurs to me that it’s just possible that one or two of you are in the same dilemma. Your girls can’t continue to wear the long sleeved velvet dress to church indefinitely, as handy as that would be. So in the interests of the greater good, and under the general heading of spreading sweetness and light, I am giving you a 20% off coupon for Amoretti. Hopefully that will do something to ease the strain.

So – if you haven’t yet made your way over to the Amoretti blog to enter for a dress . . . well you better do it now!
Guess what. No, no, you’ll never get it. I’ll just go ahead and tell you. I’m about to fire up a blog post merely to tell you that you need to go look at Amoretti. See? Told you you’d be shocked at me acting that out of character.
So I’m just going to have to be the tacky one who bumps the pictures of Marisol down the page. Especially tacky since I have nothing of huge importance to say, and it can basically be summed up as, “Hey everyone! Stop looking at the baby and go look at my blog!” But there’s a new Purse up, so you’re going to need to trot along and enter for it.
And now, having gotten that off my chest, I’d like to deliver myself of my candid opinion of People Who Play Soccer. (Ok, just joking. But I’ll have to think up something to spout off about next, because there’s no denying that that was quite an amusing little explosion I sparked off!)

Ok ladies. I just need to tell you that this is a terribly good idea. For a gift I mean. This is a sew-your-own sachet kit, designed for (but obviously not limited to!) little girls. Continue reading ‘Just an idea . . .’
