So here is a silly thing for silly children. Or rather a silly pattern for silly mothers of silly children. If you want to make one yourself, you can print the pattern here.  You need nothing more than basic knitting skills and cheap cotton yarn, and very simple finishing makes it a super quick (crank them out in time for Easter baskets) kind of thing. A penguin is coming soon, as well as some other animals because I have four children!  Just slip in a bar of baby soap, and you are in business. owlie_soap_sack.pdf
That is so cute! I bet it would make a great ice pack too!
Love it!! It tempts me to pick up some knitting needles!
This is not only cute, but so helpful! What a great tool for getting the little ones to be able to soap themselves. I have never knitted anything, but I will try.
This is now on my list of to dos. It is adorable! I can’t wait to see what the penguin and the other animals look like. Thank you for sharing.
Very cute – I haven’t been knitting long but will give it a try – by the time I’ve made one for every nephew (6) I should have gotten the hang of it!
This is totally off the subject….
But I wondered if -considering the current economic strife- any of you ladies had any special encouragement for the wives of husbands who are out of work. I know that God has created me to be my husband’s helpmeet in all ways & situations, and I am desiring to encourage and support my husband through a very difficult time right now. Lots of prayer, too. 🙂
So could Mrs. Wilson maybe speak particularly to the wives on how to help our husbands as they seek new employment, diligently job hunt, and endeavor to provide for their families without a current job?
Thank you so much for your ministry here.
What a great idea. Please post the other animal patterns when you get them!!! Can’t wait to make them!
