Well the next installment of What Have You is up over at NSA. Click here if you feel moved to follow along and listen to our coffee date podcast in the car. We chat about policing our emotions and our various forays into some of the more obscure domestic arts.
Meanwhile – here are a couple pics.
First of all, here’s that cookbook I couldn’t remember the name of.
Here are a couple of the other ones we mentioned:
And that time we were re-glazing windows in the never-ending girls’ room project. . .
And here’s that quiltย Rachel never finished that is currently on the tippy-top shelf of her yarn room:
Thank you for this podcast! I love it!!
You ladies are hugely encouraging and your joy is contagious! Thanks for podcasting!
I am thoroughly enjoying this podcast! My children ask “are you listening to those two sisters again?” anytime they suspect from my giggles over the talking. Thank you so much for the reality and encouragement from a biblical worldview.
Your podcast makes me smile, laugh, think…and look up books on Amazon! Thanks so much and keep ’em comin’!
Hello,
I’ve enjoyed listening to your chats. I feel we are worlds apart culturally but because we have Christ and motherhood in common I can relate to much of what you say and am encouraged, thank you! Regarding Beauty and the Beast, I totally agree about Disney etc! My friend helped to make this video which your children/you may find interesting! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye_cMcOR9OU they take a look at the themes of the film and parallels with the gospel, and it’s really well done too!
I’m loving your podcast. Keep up the good work!
I have loved these! They make my late evening dish washing a highlight of my day. My husband hears me laughing all the way across the house. Just one question – where are the pictures you speak of in them? I don’t see all of them here or on the NSA site – do you have a separate facebook page for the podcast or something else? Thanks!
Loving these podcasts!! Thank you so much <3 been passing the links to friends too. Fun for dishwashing time ๐
Thank you for the encouraging biblical object lessons, spurring on the joy in being a mother and for random information that I now find myself using when explaining something to anyone…I particularly enjoyed drive by information about Jewish pork situation of the old testament… I am actually enjoying my long runs again( not the bathroom kind). You bring light heart to heavy hostile topics like facebook mothering and fellowship with other woman so thank you! Oh and I actually feel a random desire to learn how to knit and knead bread two things I never thought I would pursue but when you talk and laugh about it I feel as if I missing out on one of the greatest skills/joys God invented. I am on it….well maybe when my youngest is out of diapers, potty training him is now my mission to be conquered and then sour dough! (Although as I sit next to my son encouraging him to go I would actually have time to take up knitting.)
Oh my goodness gracious!! You ladies are amazing! Meeting a need! Have been wanting to thank you for your books (Eve in Exile and You Who, especially) and podcasts for some time and am finally coming here to do it! Just finished the July 3 podcast and they keep getting better! Much fist-pumping and virtual fist-bumping while listening! Many exclamation marks necessary!! ๐
Come visit Nova Scotia! We’d love to feed you and show you around and talk, talk, talk. We have our own Bible reading revival going on, women getting excited about theology and how it comes out our fingertips. We, too, are passionate and laugh a lot and interrupt each other. I think we’d get along great.
What are the chances? You never know. It’s an open invitation. ๐๐๐
