Hi there all-
I thought that you might be interested in a new blog Lady Kirkbay
It is an online forum for the women in Christ Church and TRC to talk about the upcoming (October 11) fund-raiser which will include a craft fair. The idea was for a place to post patterns, questions, craft supplies for give away, and anything else potentially craft fair related. We are hoping to see some in process pictures, some “hey what about this” posts, and lots of plain old fun fellowship. Since it can be a little awkward to lug a project to church to ask for feedback, we thought this might be a good way to do it. The local women are all invited to become authors on the blog, and all of you friends out there are invited to come check out what we are working on (you are of course invited to comment!)

Sounds like a hoot! What are you raising funds for? Will the craft fair be advertised and open to the Moscow community? Looking forward to the blog updates.

Hi Moriah,
The funds we raise will go into the ladies’ fellowship discretionary fund. Since we don’t have a kitchen of our own yet, we may decide to use the funds to start gathering equipment for our future kitchen. This year we did the church dinner ourselves rather than going to a restaurant. We spent quite a bit on renting the place settings. So, we may decide to start stockpiling. But that all remains to be decided.
The craft fair will be a combo tag sale and food fair as well. So we will be advertising it for one and all!

Oh please, can I be just a little envious? It looks like a lot of fun, and since we’re 90 miles from our church we miss out on some of the fun stuff.
But I am really thankful we do have a good church to attend!
I love the blog, so inspiring, and your craft fair is my due date, so it’s a fun way to pass the time. 🙂
