We have a winner!

So the winning number was #53 – Challice. Hurray! I would like to say that I thought it was quite nice that we ended up with an even 100 entries, and also… is there anyone who reads this blog who is not expecting? Wow!

p.s. If you have a boy or are expecting a boy, there will be a new giveaway in a more masculine style Monday!

  1. your comment made me laugh out loud… but, you know, this IS at REFORMEDblogs com, after all! πŸ˜‰

  2. I read this blog from time to time and I am not expecting nor will I be unless God performs a miracle, although I am of childbearing age!

Nice to know so many are out there being fruitful and multiplying!!!

  3. I had my boy six weeks ago…so, I’m very glad to announce I am not pregnant. (I just got in on it to give it away to a lady at a baby shower…because we have a lot of those. Besides, I could have held it in my hands and inspected just exactly how the spiffy flower was put on there.)

  4. We’re expecting – grandchild number 6. (We have 4 grandsons and only 1 granddaughter so far.) I still read the blog everyday. πŸ™‚ Nancy, I especially appreciate your perspective on being a blessing as a mother-in-law. This is another role for which I had no preparation or modeling, so it’s great to have other godly women sharing wisdom on these things.
    Blessings,

  5. Congrats to the winner!
I’m not expecting either. I have a 4 month old and a 2 year old. So i’m hoping for March of 2010; I told my midwife to pencil me in πŸ™‚

Thanks for the wonderful giveaways and great blog!

  6. Not expecting, and I don’t already have kids. So except for Paul, I may be the “oddest man out.”

  7. Good point, Melissa. Reformed folk and a profound love for babies often go together as they should!! My church, for one, has numerous large families.

Rebekah, you aren’t as alone as it may appear. I’ve never so much as been anywhere near marriage, so God is not going to be sending any babies here anytime soon. (Since I made the stork comment, I should perhaps clarify now that I most emphatically do not believe in babies coming before a husband; I would love more than almost anything to already be a mother, but actually only on condition that I already be a wife!)
