We are happily spilling the beans that Nate has been given the job of writing the screenplay for The Great Divorce.

Happy, happy, joy, joy!
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Super cool! I can’t wait to see it.
That is wonderful! My husband and I recently read The Great Divorce. It will sure be hard to put it on the screen, but knowing a bit about Nate’s imagination, we think he’s the perfect candidate to pull off a great screenplay! All the best, Nate!
Very exciting! I can’t wait to see what Nathan comes up with. I have no doubt it will be perfect.
Hurrah, huzzah, and hooray!!!!! 🙂
I am so glad you clarified this. I kept seeing blurps on this today and could not pin point what all the hubbaballoo was all about. That is extremely exciting. Way to go Nate! We will look forward to it.
Woo Hoo!!
I am so excited about this that I’ve immediately ordered a copy of The Great Divorce from the Christian Bookshop next door to my office so I can pour over it in wonderment and generally get myself worked up about the movie before it comes out – I really hope the release it in the UK as well as the US.
One of my all time favorite books. Wow, that’s quite an undertaking (How to capture?!). We’ll pray for Nate.
What an amazing opportunity for Christ’s Kingdom to have a knowledgeable man like Nate to tackle one of C.S. Lewis’s most thought provoking books. I know he will stay true to the story with his own creativity. May God bless the Wilson family and their efforts in cultural renewal…huzzah!
Considering that Great Divorce and Tilt-a-Whirl both rank in my top ten books list, I certainly think this is an excellent combination. We’ll eagerly anticipate the results!
I just finished reading that last week. I’ll be watching for updates & release info.
Blessings on the journey~
I was going to tell this story in my earlier comment but forgot. When my husband and I were freshly married we were walking around in a secondhand bookshop one time and asked the woman working there if they had anything by C.S. Lewis. She looked at us holding hands, thought for a bit and then said, “Yes… but I don’t think you’ll like it very much… it’s about divorce.” We left with a copy of The Great Divorce. I bet she had some doubts over the future of our marriage! 🙂
