As promised….here are the upcoming covers for our new books. I have to say that I love both covers, but Chloe does sort of take the cake (or the spaghetti). And the fact that Rachel grabbed a camera at that moment shows that she was enjoying Chloe enjoying the spaghetti….which is just what her book is all about.
Hat’s off to Canon Press! I hear they are offering free shipping for both Loving the Little Years and for Pretty Girl if preordered. Hope you enjoy!
Hooray! Oh yes, I’m buying in bulk! Thank you.
How fun! And thanks for the heads-up about the free shipping. I’ll be ordering my copies soon!
They both sound wonderful! Can’t wait to read them. The covers are sweet too!
Woohoo!
Congratulations Rachel!
Rachel’s book is looking good to me.
Thanks for writing!
How EXCITING!!! I can’t wait! You go, girls! 🙂
I’m afraid I committed a blooper with my cousin the other day, so I’ll be ordering two copies – one for her and one for me.
On another note, she said that one of the hardest things about single is that people expect you to have some big goal in life and that at least once she got married….at which point I interjected that it doesn’t stop then. She didn’t like my saying that. Another topic for a blog post maybe?
Dear Mrs. Wilson,
I bought your book “Why Isn’t a Pretty Girl Like You Married?” to read after the birth of our youngest child. Since our CREC church is full of unmarried young ladies, I thought it would be a useful read. In God’s providence, our baby girl was born with spina bifida and we found ourselves in NICU with her for 2 weeks (I’m actually still here, in the NICU, typing this). I can’t tell you how blessed I am to have this book which many would think has nothing to do with our current trial. The chapter on contentment and thankful submission to God’s will has been a balm to my soul. I just wanted you to know that your faithfulness to the central issues (faith, contentment, obedience, thankfulness, etc.) which you have in your writing has been used of God to bring me through the beginning of this trial with joy and thankfulness.
Sincerely,
Kelle Swanson

Dear Kelle,
We will pray for you and your precious baby. Thank you for your sweet note.
With love,
Nancy
