I’m feeling a mite bit guilty about ignoring everyone. But I have a decent, if not a good, excuse. I am in the UK and have been here visiting our beloved Merkle clan since a week ago yesterday. But I have a few posts rolling around in my mind which will no doubt surface after we get back to the native land. In other words, I’m gathering material.
So now you know!
A most excellent excuse, of course. In fact, seven excellent excuses! And I’m sure we readers will receive some spiritual reward for enduring this fast from your posting. 😉
I was starting to worry! Glad all is well.
Would you mind discussing the topics of miscarriage, infant loss, and infertility sometime? Many believing women have these struggles…women who desire to pass on the covenant and who want to bear fruit in their marriage. What would you say to women who’ve suffered loss after loss after loss?
Just in case anyone reads this while waiting on some good “femina” insight…I listened to Pastor Wilson’s sermon “Loving Little Ones I” and would love to share that it is, hands down, the best sermon on childrearing that I have ever heard. Please take the time to listen to it and to pass it on. I know you won’t regret it! 🙂
This sermon is full of kindness, compassion and grace. For me it is very convicting but also very encouraging.
Grace,
Yes, I will put something together shortly on these subjects, Lord willing.
Rachel,
I agree that the sermon is a great blessing. Amen and amen!
Today he preached the second in this series, so I commend them to you all.
