Hallo! I’ve missed you all. We spent last week on the Oregon coast. Just a blast. Soon will post pics. Lovely wedding today (my husband officiated) and tomorrow a.m. we begin two services. So I just can’t stay up late and try to write much tonight. And, to top it off, my computer refuses to turn on, or it will come on for about twenty seconds. All this to say, good night. I assume this was actually Nancy and not Liz. Looking forward to your pix and to hearing how your two services went. I was sad to hear that y’all were going to have to divvy up the congregation like that, but it sounds like it was the best solution under the circumstances. Better than satellite sites with big-screen TVs, at any rate!

Because my computer is dead, I am using Doug’s laptop, and for some reason it wants me to be Lizzie and not Nancy. But I think I have figured out how to fix that.
Going to two services will have its challenges, but we are being encouraged to connect with everyone during the break in between rather than scurrying off. In some ways, having two services may help us actually visit with more people rather than less. Some day, Lord willing, we will have a sanctuary without bleachers that will hold everyone!
Can’t wait to see those beach skirts you made your granddaughters. I hope you had a very relaxing time in Oregon.
