A Nana Bracelet

My sweet friend Michelle has made me a “Nana bracelet” as a surprise gift, and you must take a look!  She and her six little beauties have this website so you can order your own or one for your mom, sister, daughter, mother-in-law, grandma, teacher, or friend. I have looked and looked for a fun little bracelet celebrating my fifteen grandkids, but all I have been able to find has been too ornate, dangly, goofy, or splashy for my taste since I would need a full fifteen charms. So this is not only a fun surprise, but it is exactly what I have been wishing for. It is perfect! It has the birthstone of each of my fifteen grandkids, in order of birth, separated by little sterling and gold filled beads. Just lovely. She has a picture of my bracelet on her website (called Nancy Birthstone) so you can see how pretty it is.

While you are looking at her website, be sure to look at the cute family picture behind the “about” button. (Big news: Though not in the picture, the six sisters now have a baby brother!)

Thank you Michelle and Six Sisters Beadworks for this. I will enjoy and treasure my Nana bracelet!

  1. That is not only beautiful and fun, but it looks very, very quiet! My 84yo mom loves to wear her charm bracelet, with a dangling charm attached for each of her 24 grandchildren and 8 great-granchildren PLUS the charm bracelet that was her mother’s with HER 6 grandchildren plus assorted hobby charms. She has NO idea how loud it is!! But it is very very special to her, as I am sure yours is:-) Blessings on your abundant and beautiful family!!

  2. I don’t know where else to put this since I can’t find any contact information. I was wondering if you could do a post or series about extra-curricular activities and how parents can go about choosing wisely for their children. There are so many “good” options and so many (wildly varying) viewpoints on what the purpose is that a first time parent can be easily confused. I would gladly take book recommendations too! Thanks, and sorry for hijacking the comments.
