Years ago when my children were small, I knew that someday I would be sitting at their feet learning from them. That day arrived some time back, and I couldn’t be more blessed by how God is blessing them. Here’s the latest:

Attended Nate’s interview at Patrick Henry College yesterday. Such great stuff! Really blessed by his answers about growing up as a PK, with a relatively well-known dad. He honored you and Doug with his comments about your excellent balance of law and grace, of tons of joy in the home, and your coming alongside him when he stumbled or failed, rather than getting angry. He said he never has seen Doug angry! What a testimony to God’s grace and Jim and Bessie’s raising of him! Now to work on my level of joy vs. anger in our large household… by God’s grace.
I have found this to be true as well and it is a true blessing and a very moving experience as well.
