Not only have the lost corrections/additions from my afternoon’s work been found, but I think I have now emerged from a combo jet lag/head cold hibernation. We have been back from the UK for over a week, and I think I am now officially back to normal. Last night, though I hate to admit it, I went to bed at 8 pm and slept until 6 am. That’s what finally did the trick! So tonight I am actually still awake at 9:15. Incredible! My husband is astonished.
So glad to hear that your lost work was found again!
Sleep, glorious sleep!
Terrific that you found the lost work! Now you can feel smug all over again. ๐
I didn’t realize it took so long for your body to get back to “normal” after being overseas. It’s good to hear you’re feeling “at home” again.
One more thing – I have a quick question for you and wondered if you could email me?
Thank you!
Glad you found the lost work. Last week I was looking for a document of a book I have been working on for around 4-5 years and I couldn’t find it anywhere. It was on none of my computers and I know I was working on it a month or two ago. So there it goes…. a few years of work out the window. Being a Calvinist I resigned myself to the fact that the Lord decided to take it away. It may be for a while or it may be permanently.
So as I’m typing this my husband asked what I was commenting on and I told him and he decided to help me look again. And wonder of wonders what do you think I found? MY BOOK! Yippee! The Lord decided to give it back. I just told Geoff that I know for a fact I looked in the folder he just looked in last week and I didn’t see it there. ๐ Wahoo, so that makes both of us tonight. The Lord is certainly gracious. ๐
Good Night, Nancy.
This was kind of comforting to me.
My family returned from Europe in January, and I walked around like a zombie for ten days afterward. Never fully awake, but very much asleep at night.
Then one day I came out of the fog.
What I lost in the mean time was a stack of bills that were all ready to post…..
